Yep, that is right - used an external mixer. There is an analog input on the Rytm, but as the PO is very low in volume it needed an external solution. Also meant I could add the little delay on the signal.

When was it manufactured? I believe there is a sensitivity fix that can be applied, so just contact support and they know what to do.

@@tubesockor haven't reall yheard it but at one moment when the waveform on sound page was on, i thought the playhead was playing forwards and backwards. maybe you p-locked play direction?

Ah, it might look like it since it is a single cycle waveform (very short) that is played back faster than the screen refresh. A bit like a video of a car where the wheels might appear to go backwards (or both ways)

Yes, played on a poly keyboard and then split the notes over the tracks.

It’s such a shame they don’t allow polyphonic playback per track. Even with voice stealing. Let me play some chords… steal some voices. And then resample into a loop.

@@alecsbuga Yeah I can imagine they add that in the future as it has 16 individual voices when you think about it. They could just rearrange it into for example 8 tracks being used as an 8 voice polyinstrument.

Thank you so much, really happy you liked it! Yeah, as often happens I tend to go to some almost absurd details :) But it is also the fun of it! I actually used this song as one of the different reference tunes when developing SY CHIP for the Analog Rytm. Wanted to make sure it could fit a wide range of chiptune sounds. And while testing things I discovered I had made big parts of the song, and it was be fun to play live on top, so why not just continue :) It suits the Analog Rytm specifically, as your 8bit version is kind of a "hybrid" just like the Rytm is. Time wise I don't know as it was scattered over a longer period of time. But not _that_ much actually. Time flies when things are fun. Played it live on a very internal gig back in December and since then thought I should do a proper recording. So at last, did that yesterday.

@@tubesockor Ahh that's good to know. The track came out of doing patches for the inSIDeous plugin. But the QA period closed before I had time to give them a load more (and better) patches. But yeah, kudos for the detail. I am the same. Back in the day when I used to do more conversions of game music from one platform to another, it drove me crazy looping a bar at a time to figure everything out. Same with bands, I used to work out the scores from their CD's so I could learn the tunes note for note... that in particular was not so much fun ;)

⁠@@tubesockoryep, it’s all inSIDeous. The ride was all 3 channels of a SID iirc. Think it was one of the presets.
